This series of paintings explores the connectivity of painting and poetry, messiness and cleanliness. I chose three poems that I wrote based on happenings or feelings that occurred through certain dreams I had over the spring and summer 2021 and paired them with contrasting color schemes that are closely associated with the mood of the dreams. They are meant to express the ambiguity and fuzziness of remembering dreams while appearing in a pop style.
